The problem
Local business and city information in Morocco is scattered across social pages, maps and outdated directories. CityBook brings businesses, services, places and city guides into one searchable web experience.
My contribution
I build the website and the application behind it: the user-facing discovery pages, the product interfaces, structured data and search, and the backend services and content workflows that keep listings current.
Architecture
The public architecture reference describes a Next.js, React and TypeScript frontend, a Go service, PostgreSQL and cloud media storage. Localized content and structured listing data drive the directory and city-guide pages.
Public reference, private application
The linked GitHub repository is a public product reference, not the production source. The portfolio links to that reference and to the website without exposing proprietary application code or private data.
What it demonstrates
Full-stack web development, searchable structured content, localized interfaces, backend integration and day-to-day website operations. No traffic, customer or revenue figure is claimed here.
